Adult hockey players from around the state will gather in Lewistown next weekend for three days of hockey action.
The second annual Open Air Classic will be held Jan. 13-15 at the Lewistown Ice Rink at Frank Day Park.
The tournament is expected to feature teams from Glasgow, Missoula, Great Falls, Havre and Bozeman.  Lewistown will have two adult teams, led by captains Pat Weichel and Bruce Marsden.
The Lewistown teams will square off in the first game of the tournament on Friday evening. Two or three more games will follow Friday night and the action will continue all day on Saturday before wrapping up with a trophy presentation on Sunday afternoon.
There is no admission charge and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the action. Concessions will be available at the Berg Building near the swimming pool, and there will be seating along with a few outdoor propane heaters around the rink.
The tournament is being run by the Lewistown Ice Skating Association with financial help from local hoteliers through the Lewistown Tourism Business Improvement District.
