Horse challenge prepares for third year

After holding the 2nd Annual Missouri River Horse Challenge over Labor Day weekend last year, organizers have decided to move the event back to July 4th, citing the busy fall season as one of several reasons. Therefore, the drawing of horses has been moved up this year to Sunday, April 10. The first 15 horsemen and -women who sign up will be able to draw for a horse challenge prospect. Drawings will be held at the Winifred Stockyards.
